LO NAYLOR (she/they) is poet and filmmaker from Salt Lake City. Winner of the 2025 Ploughshares Emerging Writer’s Contest in Poetry, Lo earned an MFA from NYU (2025) and holds a BA in Art History and Visual Arts from Columbia University. Her award-winning films (as Laura Naylor) have screened internationally at major festivals, aired on the BBC, and are available for streaming. Lo’s work has been supported by the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, Tin House, New York Foundation for the Arts, and the PVBLIC Foundation. Recent poems appear or are forthcoming in Poetry, Ploughshares, The Missouri Review, The Adroit Journal, Narrative, Prairie Schooner, and Best New Poets 2025, among others. She lives and works in Brooklyn.
